Todays thoughts and insights

Today, I was thinking about how God creates. When I want to create something, let's say a painting, I use my hands. I first think about what I want to create, then I use my body to do it, in this case hands. But God doesn't have a body. How would he hold a paintbrush? That's when it occurred to me that God creates with His thoughts. He can manipulate matter just by thinking about it. So, why is it so incredible to believe that we control with our thoughts? I don't mean I can levitate a chair, or manipulate matter, I mean why can't I imagine a different life. Why can't I imagine being a less fearful person? Why don't I imagine being happy? I have to imagine the painting before I make it. I have to imagine what I want to create before I make it. So why not imagine the life you want. What's stopping you from dreaming, imagining, contemplating, or envisioning it. I'll bet just from picturing it in your mind, you can make it happen. Unless, you think you can't...
